All dogs must pass a rigorous set of evaluation tests before being accepted into TSGSR. The tests are not intended to assess how smart the dog is, but are important for TSGSR to determine if the dog is expected to be safe in a family home. The tested behaviors check to see if the dog will guard or protect food or toys from people, and will tolerate handling all over its body. The evaluation also checks whether a dog remains calm during all of these tests and shows no aggressive tendencies.
All dogs will come to your home with a cushy pad, dog food, toys, and many other goodies.
